ITEC 1850 - Database Design and Management 3 Credit(s) Introduces the principles of relational database design. Students will apply the fundamentals learned in lab exercises to design entity-relationship diagrams that show the information relationships in simple databases. Students will also demonstrate their understanding of the concepts learned in the course by designing and creating a database for an existing business using a database engine to create, populate and drop tables, views, and synonyms; query and update their database; and perform access control.
