ECED 1330 - Preschool Practicum Academic Division: Liberal Arts Academic Discipline: Early Childhood Education Assistant Dean: Steve Haynes PhD 1 Credit(s) The practicum experience is a “hands-on” experience providing “on the job” opportunities to apply principles acquired in EDUT 1070 and ECED 1050 . Candidates plan and implement activities with individuals and small groups of children in the curriculum areas using ODE/ODJFS Early Learning and Development Standards, and NAEYC Professional Preparation Standards. This practicum takes place in a licensed child care facility or a pre-kindergarten program. Candidates work a minimum of 7 hours per week for a total of at least 75 hours. UG 7 Practicum Hour(s);
