CHWR 2730 - Health Care Across the Lifespan 3 Credit(s) This course is designed to assist students in their study of life cycles from conception to old age. The course integrates health promotion, health maintenance, and restorative care in the new healthcare delivery system. Healthcare workers are expected to provide care to individuals in a variety of settings throughout their life span. The course presents these new concepts to students and demonstrates how the complete process of growth and development affects people across their life span. Students will gain an appreciation for individuals in their struggle to maintain, promote, and restore health and apply these principles and concepts to their clinical practice.
