This course introduces the relationship of American culture and language. Students will learn to understand and use American idioms and will explore interesting aspects of American culture through browsing news articles, taking weekly field trips to local places of interest (for example, shopping mall, Amish farm, theater, museum, farmers’ market) and reporting on discoveries, and discussing observations from daily life.
