EDUT 2071 - Individuals with Exceptionalities Seminar 3 Credit(s) This course is designed to cover the identification, developmental characteristics and intervention strategies for exceptional children and youth. An overview of handicapping conditions in young children, issues of normalization, and least restrictive environment, individualization of learning programs, working with ancillary services (P.T., O.T., SLP) and experiences in segregated and integrated settings, as well as family and community needs will be addressed.
