MSCI 1030 - Thanatology Ii: Loss Grief and Mourning And Assessment and Intervention 1 Credit(s) This course focuses on two key aspects of thanatology: loss, grief, and mourning and assessment and intervention. The subjects are explored through the lenses of culture, socialization, religion, spirituality, and historical and contemporary perspectives. Life span issues and integration of family, larger systems, ethical and legal issues are also explored. This course will also explore bereavement interventions and compare and contrast the interventions with regard to efficacy and approaches. Semesters available: Eve - Sp UG
