ELET 1710 - Introduction to Robotics 2 Credit(s) This course covers the basic programming, operation, interfacing, troubleshooting and OSHA safety standards for industrial robots and workcell systems. The primary focus is on the use of automatic parts-handling equipment, contour applications and interfacing with emphasis on design for manufacturing. Topics include the use of conveyors, parts feeders, positioning equipment and safety systems. Hands-on laboratory experiences include operation of robots using the teach pendant.
